 www.winfieldreeds.co.uk    A reed maker second to none. His site is full of fascinating  information and his    reeds play like a dream.  He offers both cork bound and metal staples. The  metal ones are a joy  to use. They seem to take much less effort to produce a good sound.

  www.tordareeds.co.uk   Another tailor made offer of reeds from an experienced player, Hayley  Walters. Well worth a visit.

  www.musicguard.co.uk   This company offers general and student type prices particularly for  school children. Worth asking for a quote.  You can then compare with a quote from your own household insurance company.

  www.bdrs.co.uk   The British branch of the Doudle Reed Society might have interesting content for  oboe enthusiasts in the UK.  There is an International Group too.
